Serve Together: Inauguration Alumni Service Day.
ONU has a rich history of service and community engagement. When H.S. Lehr founded ONU in 1871, he envisioned a university whose graduates would take their skills and knowledge out into the community, region, nation and the world to serve the greater society.
Now, as we celebrate the inauguration of ONU’s 12th president, Melissa J. Baumann, Ph.D., we challenge YOU to give back to your local community and help to further ONU’s long-standing tradition of community service.

The Inauguration ceremony will be held in the ONU Sports Center, 609 Lincoln Ave., Ada. The ONU Sports Center was created in 1991 with the renovation of parts of the King-Horn Convocation and Physical Education Center (1974) and the addition of a field house complex and connecting addition. An addition and renovation also were completed in 1996. The Sports Center accommodates intercollegiate athletics, physical education and recreation activities, as well as commencements, special events, and assembly programs. King-Horn’s main floor seats 3,200 for basketball and 5,000 for convocations.
