For the second year in a row, 100% of Ohio Northern University’s Nursing Program graduates passed the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) on their first attempt, surpassing both the national (93.4%) and state (92.07%) averages.

During the past five years, ONU’s pass rate has been 93.1%, consistently outpacing the state and national averages.

"I am thrilled with the NCLEX performance by our 2024 graduates, said Kami Fox, DNP, RN, ONU’s nursing program director and professor in the School of Health, Life Sciences, and Education. “It’s a testament to the graduates, the nursing faculty, and the program. All 2024 graduates are gainfully employed, caring for others, and moving our profession forward!”

Passing the exam is required to practice as a registered nurse.
