un-CAPP it!, a popular podcast at Ohio Northern University’s Institute for Civics and Public Policy (ICAPP) has enjoyed a slate of intriguing guests and topics this spring semester. Co-hosted by
ICAPP Fellows Kennedy Aikey and Hailey Trimpey, who host the show, use a Gen-Z lens and interviews with experts to provide an in-depth look at impactful political topics facing society.
This spring semester’s shows have included:

Prior to that, the co-hosts dive into how the country got to this point and how we as Americans are actually feeding into the problem.
· “When the Going Gets Tough, Turn to Wonder.” ONU Chaplain David MacDonald explains the relationship between mindfulness and politics, and how we can use this practice to alleviate some of the toxicity in today’s political climate.
· “Big Changes with ICAPP.” The previous co-hosts, who will be graduating in May, discuss what they did during their winter break from the podcast and hint at upcoming content for the rest of the season. They also introduce current co-hosts Aikey and Trimpey.
