Students and employees can deposit money on their ONU ID card, and then use their card around campus to purchase items similar to using a debit card. Polar Points are a dollar for dollar match, so if you add $25 in Polar Points, you would have $25 to use. Any unused Polar Points are refunded when a student graduates or leaves the university, or when an employee retires, is terminated or leaves the university.

Polar Points can be deposited on to your ONU ID online with your credit card or electronic check. You also may stop by the Controller’s Office on the first floor of the Lehr Building to pay with cash, check or credit card. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. during the school year and 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. during the summer.
Polar Points will be added to your ONU ID card within 1-2 business days after your payment has been processed.
